The unfolding message of the Bible is really a message about God's work to save His people for His glory. It's a message about God's character as a holy, righteous judge. It's about God's grace toward sinners who turn their back on him. But He continually cares for us, He's patient with us, He sent his Son - Jesus Christ, The Messiah, to save us.

What does the Bible say is the most important thing in life? To love the Lord is the most important thing that God asks of us. The sum and the substance of everything that God has said is simply to love Him. This has been and will continue to be the central issue of life. The heart of the matter is always the matter of the heart.

Bible study is the heart of the Christian life. New Christians, however, can become discouraged as they face what seems a monumental task. Basic Bible Study will help you start out your Christian life on the right track—studying the Word of God.

If God told us to "rightly divide" the Bible, then the Bible must tell us how to do that.

I Corinthians 15:1-4

Here we find Paul spelling out for us, the gospel (the good news) for today.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,

how that Christ died for our sins
according to the Scriptures;
And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day
according to the Scriptures.”

This is how we are saved today.
It is by faith alone in what Christ has done for us according to the Scriptures.
Anything you would add to God’s plan is a false gospel.
